- Drug Index - Online pharmacy, in-depth information about hundreds of drugs
- HealthCentral - Medical news, drug info, library, calculators, online doctors
- Medical Information Bureau (MIB) - Debunk the mysterious MIB. Consumer fact sheet, request MIB reports online.
- MedLine Plus - Another government resource of the National Institute of Health. Similar to the National Library of Medicine but in an less comprehensive and easier to navigate format.
- National Library of Medicine (National Institute of Health) - The world’s largest medical library. Contains information about prescription drugs, treatment regimens, and virtually every disease and ailment. Also has tutorials on specific health issues.
- Portamedic - Our preferred Para-Med / Exam vendor. Online orders for paramed exams, inspection reports, motor vehicle reports, and APS’s. Get online status updates for exams you ordered.
- RiskTutor - Client screening questionnaires, background on medical conditions, underwriting implications of over 1,000 commonly prescribed medications, guidelines to ordering APS’s, preparing clients for exams. Great resource center for the do-it-yourself agent. Requires Annual license fee ($149).
- WebMD - Consumer articles and news on common medical ailments, drug database, health calculators, medical encyclopedia, patient guide to medical tests, ask the medical experts. Great basic guide to medical impairments.
