  • APPcelerate is an expedited underwriting process with no paramed exam. Depending on age/face amount, all term cases will be considered for APPcelerate, which is an expedited underwriting process where no paramed exam is required. If the client qualifies, the application will follow one of two paths: (1) Immediate approval in as little as 24 hours that proceeds to issue, or (2) Underwriter determines that additional requirements are necessary and will go through full underwriting. A few of the Banner APPcelerate Underwriting advantages include:
    • No client checklist or pre-screening required.
    • Same great OPTerm pricing. No additional policy fee.
    • Better client experience. No medical exams, labs or APSs.
    • Qualifying applicants can be approved by the next business day, or even faster!

Genworth

  • Producer documents available on Genworth PRO only starting 12/12/17. As part of our efforts to reduce cost and increase security, on December 12, 2017, long term care customer service will begin to discontinue mailing documents to producers. Going forward, documents will be available electronically on Genworth PRO. NOTE: In-Force Rate Action notifications will continue to be emailed or mailed to producers.

Prudential

  • ECG requirement - eliminated for ages 41 and up for face amounts up to $9,999,999. In those instances when the Insurance Risk Profile is ordered, the lab companies will run the NT-ProBNP test instead. This test will be run on exam/IRP orders completed on or after 12/11/17.

Securian

  • Securian to Discontinue Paper Compensation Statements. This month, you will begin receiving email notifications when a new statement is available. This email will contain a link to access your statement through our advisor website. Securian will no longer mail paper copies of your compensation statements for compensation earned beginning January 2, 2018.
